Robert Conroy

Robert is a Partner at Crane and has over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, with a track record spanning over $200 million in land investments and participation in more than $1 billion of development projects across industrial, hotel, office, and retail asset classes.

Prior to Crane, Robert was a Vice President at Portman, where he led industrial development activities across the Southeastern United States and previously contributed to the firm’s hotel and office platforms. He began his real estate career with JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group.

Robert holds a BBA in Economics and Finance from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School, where he was a Fellow with the Center for Alternative Investments and co-led the Goizueta Real Estate Group. He is active with NAIOP and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta.

Outside of the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and racquet sports.

James Walsh

James is a Partner at Crane and has been involved in the sourcing, acquisition, financing, and development of over 1,700 multifamily units, 1.2 million square feet of commercial space, and 700 acres of land. His experience spans multifamily & mixed-use development, land development, and commercial value-add investments.

Prior to Crane, James was a Development Manager at Portman, where he focused on residential and mixed-use projects including Sora at Spring Quarter (370 units in Midtown Atlanta) and Starling (359 units in Nashville). He previously held roles at Cygnus Capital and South Coast Commercial, focusing on private real estate investments across the Sunbelt.

James holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and is a member of ULI, ICSC, and the UGA Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board.

Outside the office, James enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf, fishing, and following all Georgia Bulldogs sports teams.
